Together with Eurozine and Radio Orange, RECET is realizing its very first youth project: reaching out to youths living in Vienna, introducing them to the professional world of researchers and media workers. In several open forums, the youth groups meet RECET scientists (in a format of their own choosing) to discuss research related to migration. With the support of Eurozine’s editors, the young adults then publish a podcast series centring around science communication and their own experiences from the project and beyond.
Three youth groups will take part in the project. Each youth group will participate in an initial half-day workshop followed by three open forums, in which this youth group will meet scientists and discuss research conducted at RECET. With the support of Eurozine’s editors and input by the team of Radio Orange, the youngsters will then publish a podcast series revolving around science communication and their own experiences from the project and beyond.
