Leonid Motz

Leonid Motz is currently studying at the University of Vienna's Institute of Slavonic Studies. He is interested in contact linguistics (specifically in areal typology of South East Europe and the Balkansprachbund), historical linguistics as well as digital methods. Leonid also teaches an introductory tutorial for students of Slavonic Studies. His Bachelor's thesis focused on Balkanization in the Pastoral Lexicon of Macedonian varieties in Contact with Aromanian Transhumant Shepherd Cultures

At RECET he is a PR and Social Media coordinator and assists the Research Center's science communication efforts. Leonid is also responsible for the technical side of things at RECET's Transformative Podcast.
