Together with Eurozine and Radio Orange, RECET is carrying out its very first youth project: reaching out to (disadvantaged) youngsters living in Vienna and introducing them to the professional world of academic research and science communication.

 

Three youth groups will take part in the project. Each youth group will participate in an initial half-day workshop followed by three open forums, in which this youth group will meet scientists and discuss research conducted at RECET. With the support of Eurozine’s editors and input by the team of Radio Orange, the youngsters will then publish a podcast series revolving around science communication and their own experiences from the project and beyond.
