Marthe Gärtner has a Bachelor’s degree in History and North American Studies from the University of Göttingen. She is currently enrolled in the Master program of History at the University of Vienna and focusses on Eastern European and Gender History.
Marthe has been a research assistant at the research network „Ambivalences of the Soviet: Diaspora Nationalities between Collective Experiences of Discrimination and Individual Normalization, 1953-2023“ which is situated in Göttingen, Oldenburg, Lüneburg, and Vienna since November 2020.
