Manuel Neubauer holds a degree in Contemporary History (University of Vienna) with a focus on Eastern Europe and the Habsburg monarchy and is currently enrolled in the Archival Studies master program.

His previous work experience includes positions at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw), the Event Management of the University of Vienna, and the Institute for East European Studies (IOG, University of Vienna). Besides RECET, he is currently employed at the Austrian National Library (ÖNB).

His responsibilities at RECT include assistance in administration, event management, PR, and research.
