Manuel Neubauer holds a degree in Contemporary History (University of Vienna) with a focus on Eastern Europe and the Habsburg monarchy and is currently enrolled in the master's program in Archival Studies.

His previous work experience includes positions at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw), the Event Management of the University of Vienna, and the Institute for East European Studies (IOG, University of Vienna). Besides RECET, he is currently employed part-time at the Austrian National Library (ÖNB).

His responsibilities at RECET include assistance in administration, event management, PR, and research.
